Step-by-Step guide of how to Use Your Hario V60 Dripper:

1. Gather Your Equipment:

• V60 Dripper

• V60 paper filter

• Freshly ground coffee (medium-fine grind)

• Hot water (between 92-96°C)

• Coffee scale and timer (optional but helpful)

2. Prepare the Filter:

• Place the V60 dripper over your cup or carafe.

• Insert the paper filter and rinse with hot water to remove any papery taste. Discard the rinse water.

3. Add Coffee Grounds:

• For 250ml, we recommend 15g of grounds. Adjust based on your preferred strength.

• Place the coffee grounds into the filter, spreading them evenly.

4. Bloom Your Coffee:

• Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds to bloom them and wait 30 seconds.

5. Continue Pouring:

• Slowly pour hot water in a circular motion over the coffee grounds, starting from the centre and moving outward.

• Aim to complete your pour within 2-3 minutes.

6. Serve and Enjoy:

• Once all the water has passed through, remove the dripper and enjoy your perfectly brewed cup of coffee!

Tips for the Perfect Brew:

• Experiment with grind size and water temperature to find your ideal flavour profile.

• Freshly grind your coffee just before brewing for the best taste.

• Enjoy the process and savour each sip!
