El Salvador Espresso

Our single origin roast from Finca El Carmen, located in El Salvador’s Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range, one of Central America’s renowned specialty coffee producing regions.

Farmed by the Alfaro family for over a century, Finca El Carmen sits within El Salvador’s protected coffee forest, providing an important sanctuary for native and migratory bird species. Grown at 1,300 metres above sea level, these Red Bourbon beans are naturally processed to develop a rich and distinctive flavour profile.

We have carefully roasted these beans to bring out their natural sweetness and depth, with tasting notes of dark chocolate, rum and plum. A full-bodied and characterful espresso, offering a balance of rich chocolate and dark fruit with a subtle booziness.
